Biography

We’ve come a long way since your days fresh out of the Academy, like that night you all went out drinking and Veera woke up a devil. This spurred a tumultuous sea of feelings for the young adventurer, certain her parents had conspired with higher powers to ruin her chance at a normal life. However, you would soon learn of your soul’s millenia long attempts to be freed from an infernal cycle – one that began thousands of years ago as the human paladin, Versces who stormed Avernus under Zariel’s creed. In this life, you have found a loving family, a secret younger brother, and even a green cousin I threw in as a bonus! Slowly, Veera is unraveling the mysteries of her previous lives, and is on course to take her inherited powers to new and radiant heights.

Backstory

Daughter of Grensourc and Bippa D’aanit, Veera was born in a wooded frontier-home near a small mountain range beyond the town of Baithakparvat. Learning hunting and basic survival skills from her mother and alchemy from her father she quickly became a self-sufficient girl. Her home life was filled with deep love and tight-knit support. When she was out hunting or exploring Veera got a taste of independence and adventure that few townsfolk ever experience. Upon her 16th birthday she was gifted with a small bundle of savings from her parents’ periodic pelt and potion sales. The gift was meant to give Veera an opportunity to explore the world and determine what her next step in life would be. During the years of her journey throughout Edena Veera was forced to witness the cruel inequities of this world. Over time, her discomfort grew into disgust and that disgust into a barely contained rage. Desperate to do her part to combat the threats of a wild world inured to the suffering of the weak she found the Woodland Corps Ranger Academy. Joining as soon as she could she began this next step in the story of her life, never hesitating, never looking back.

Since joining the Woodland Corps she’s gone from the obnoxious de-facto leader to official Sentinel for Team 287.
